　　Decision 16-1e/2 Player Plays from Stance Astride Extension of Line of Putt Behind Ball
　　Q: A player holes a short putt from a stance astride, or with either foot touching, an extension of his line of putt behind the ball. The act was inadvertent or to avoid standing on another players line of putt or prospective line of putt. Is the player subject to penalty under Rule 16-1e?

　　A: No. The purpose of Rule 16-1e is to prevent a “croquet” style of putting. In this case the player did not use the stance for that purpose.

　　问：一名球员以跨着的站位推入距洞不远的球，或一只脚踏在球后推击线的延长线上。这个动作是无意中做的，或者是为了避免站在另一名球员的推击线或预期推击线上。这名球员要按照规则16-1e被处罚吗？

　　答：不会。规则16-1e的目的是阻止槌球式推球法（即球员面对球洞，以两脚跨着推击线，从胯下把球推向球洞）。上述这种情况球员没有使用槌球式推球法的目的。
